Premier League Best Bets: Round 9

Its derby time in the Premier League and we couldn’t be happier for our beloved competition to return from international break. Let’s have a look into this weekends picks, and find ourselves some winning tickets.

North London Is Red

Arsenal and Tottenham will square off on Saturday at lunch time, and even though this will be a very competitive match, we are taking league leaders, Arsenal. The “Gunners” will have most of their team well rested for the derby, in comparison to their bitter rival, as almost all of Tottenham’s starting eleven is coming off a short turnaround. This will certainly be a factor to consider and that’s enough for us. Take the Arsenal (+110 ML). If you still want a little more action sprinkle the over (o2.5) since 4 of the last 5 Premier League meetings between the London rivals have had 3 or more goals.

“Cherries” and Goals

Bournemouth (12th place) will host Brentford (9th place) on Saturday afternoon at Dean Court in what will be a shoot-out fixture, as only one point comes between these two sides. We are expecting goals; Brentford ranks 4th best attack at the moment, as english striker Ivan Toney has been key for this well oiled attack. Bournemouth on the other hand ranks 2nd worst defence in the league, but its attack is on the rise, scoring four goals in their last two Premier League games. Don’t overthink it, hammer the over. City Too Hot To Handle

Even tough Manchester United has a lot of big names (new and old) in their squad, this visit to Etihad Stadium is a going to be an inevitable tragedy. Ter Hag’s squad is still adapting to a new system, and even though we’ve seen the light at the end of the tunnel (Like the Arsenal game) we’ve also seen the bottom of the abyss (Like the Real Sociedad game). There’s still plenty of inconsistencies in the “Red Devils”. Lisandro Martinez and Varane will not hold off DeBruyne’s and Haaland’s ridiculous form. Take “The Citizens” with confidence (City -1.5 +100)
