Magpies on the Rise

Newcastle and Bournemouth square off on Saturday at Saint James’ Park, on paper this seems as a pretty leveled match, since both teams stand equal on points in the league (7). But the home team will make a strong push for 3 points. The Magpies have looked better on recent matches but luck has not been on their side, having frustrating results in their last two games. One disallowed goal by VAR against Palace, and a devastating loss at Anfield deep into added time (98´). This squad has performed well on the pitch and the signing of striker Alexander Isak make them dangerous up front. Back them up against the “Cherries”. (Newcastle -1.5 +125)

Wolves Square Off Against Man City

Manchester City returned to activity this week after the weekend break in the Premier League. The “Citizens” played on Wednesday against Borussia Dortmund in the UCL. The team had a good outing after having the weekend off and won the game (2-1). Erling Haaland scored against his former club with an insane finish, his form makes him, without a doubt the best striker in the world right now. As to Wolves, they are 15th in the Premier League, and have endured a rough start of the season. Striker Raul Jimenez suffered another injury this week that will keep him sidelined, and new signing Diego Costa has yet to start for the Wolves. The Wolverhampton team defends pretty well at Molineux, but that may not be enough to hold City. (Manchester City ML & u3.5)

Arsenal Hang On To The Lead

Mikel Arteta’s squad benefited from the time off, since one of their key players, Thomas Partey returned to training this week. This is great news for the gunners, since the team struggles when they don’t have the Ghanaian presence on midfield, as he is one that can recover the ball, and give Xhaka the freedom to commit forward. They will face tough opposition at Brentford. But the Gunners will press and cling on to the top of the league. This fixture has been rescheduled for Sunday at noon.
