Premier League Best Bets: Round 15

Last round ended in disappointment when all the goals we were counting on failed to find their way into the net, but even tough our nice streak came to an end, that doesn’t mean we are not planning to take on an even bigger one this time around! It all starts on Saturday when Premier League action is back as we are nearing the World Cup break, and that means all teams will make a push to scrap points any way they can. So are we!

Leeds and ‘Cherries’

We want to kick the weekend off the right way, so let’s start by placing our first wager of the weekend on this very goal-attractive match between direct rivals Leeds (15th) and Bournemouth (14th). Both teams had pretty impressive performances last weekend, on one hand Leeds shockingly stunned Liverpool at Anfield (1-2), and Bournemouth almost managed to get a draw against Tottenham, but a stoppage-time winner crushed the ‘Cherries’. Both teams will be out for blood, and they both have hit the over in their 3/5 last fixtures. (o2.5 -120)

Fly with the ‘Magpies’

We’ve said this before, but one of the most underrated teams this season is Newcastle United, who are now sitting in 4th place in the table. The ‘Magpies’ have won 5 of their last 6 games, and they will continue to fly high this weekend when they go on the road to face Southampton, who have struggled all season long with inconsistency, and a tough visitor will certainly add to their woes. Newcastle is our latest trend of the season and we plan to fly along. (Newcastle ML -110)

Offensive Clash Incoming

It’s been a very weird season for Liverpool, if not a catastrophic one. But one thing is for sure: Their firepower on offence continues to provide plenty of goals. The ‘Reds’ will travel to London to face 3rd place Tottenham, in what could be a shoot-out from the get go. The ‘Spurs’ defence has struggled at times this season to keep clean-sheets, and against a strong attack they will probably concede at least once. This game trends towards a back and forth affair and goals should be expected on both sides. (BTTS & o2.5 -110)
