Premier League Best Bets: Round 14

It was another week with a heavy dose of football as the European tournaments played out through midweek and teams are starting to feel the hardship of a packed schedule in order to make a break for the World Cup. But this is not a complaint, we’ll take as much football as we can get. The continuous activity has helped to get a better insight on teams and there’s a lot to like in this weeks picks. So let’s get it!

‘Foxes’ Take A Bite

Jamie Vardy Leicester

One of the teams that had a disappointing start, but mostly because of their schedule has been Leicester. Their attack has been very good, and Maddison and Vardy keep scoring every chance they get. The team has found its pace, and now has 2 wins in a row, scoring 2, and 4 goals in those games respectively. On the other side, there’s not much to say that you don’t already know about the title favourites, and their out of this world striker, Manchester City. The ‘Citizens’ had a short turn around so the Foxes will certainly find some spaces at home. Punch the over and both teams to score. (BTTS & o2.5 +100)

European ‘Magpies’

Newcastle United has flown under the radar, and is one of the most underrated teams this season. They are on the rise, and this project is meant to target European Competitions at least. The ‘Magpies’ have an enviable record of 4 wins and a draw in their last 5 matches, and there’s no reason to believe they will not get another win this week at St. James Park against a very inconsistent Aston Villa, that has yet to win on the road this season on the Premier League. Take Newcastle early as this line will certainly shift. (Newcastle ML -120)

Full Of Goals

As you know, when you find a trend you have to ride it, wouldn’t you agree? Fulham with Mitrovic & Co. have been impressive in-front of goal since the begging of the season, and more goals will keep on coming. This week ‘The Cottagers’ are hosting Everton at home, who is coming off a three goal performance on the last round. Let’s keep the streak alive and hammer the over. As our previous pick, this line is also likely to shift, so take it while the price is right. (o2.5 -120)
