Best Picks For Wednesday’s Liga MX Games – Win Big

Wednesday’s action in Liga MX brings us quite an interesting slate of games. Toluca vs Tigres is certainly the matchup that stands out as the most high-powered game of the day. However, with both teams coming off shaky performances it may hard to pick a winner. If we had to choose we may end up having to go with the home team just ever so slightly.

Be warned, bookmakers aren’t really providing the best odds in any of these matchups. It was quite hard to find numbers that we loved for this midweek matchday. Bookies are hoping that fans take the bait and put their money on both Chivas, and Pumas who are getting marginally favorable numbers. You have to think though that the Dani Alves lead Pumas squad can find their way past Queretaro. The Gallos Blancos are by far and away the worst roster in Liga MX, even though they’ve already collected one win this season it’s not looking like they can pick up many more Ws. Anyway let’s get going with the best picks for Wednesday’s Liga MX games.

Tigres Gets Past Toluca In A Close One

Both of these teams are coming off shaky performances. Toluca was able to play Chivas to a draw, but they had some help to be able to get that done. On the other hand, Tigres had a really tough time covering Club America attackers in the open field. What may be a bigger problem for Miguel Herrera’s side are the errant passes that his back line made which forced them to cover America players in the open field more often.

Toluca has been basically bland offensively in the last few games, and it’s not like they are super solid in the back. Despite Thiago Volpi’s best efforts, who can’t really be blamed for the team’s woes. Although both teams aren’t coming into the game looking solid Tigres has more firepower up front, and they are a slight favorite at -163. That’s a number that we feel one can live with.

Chivas and Tijuana Play To A Draw

Xolos of Tijuana is one of the most inconsistent squads in all of Liga MX. That’s not a new trend either. The team is usually very competitive in that terrible turf field that they call home, but struggle mightily when they have to play on the road. They get Chivas who are coming in hot after a few good performances at home. As we mentioned, bookmakers are hoping that Chivas fans take their team to win this one with a favorable +150 bet for the Guadalajara win.

For non Chivas fans the smart play is the draw. We like the number which currently sits at +210. When you look at both teams objectively you realize that they are very evenly matched. Plus, Chivas has to contend with playing in Tijuana’s home field, which as we mentioned is a tough place to play. Taking all of these factors into account the draw seems like the smartest bet here.

Pumas Picks Up The Win vs Queretaro

Odds makers have lost all faith in Pumas at this point in the season. How else could you explain that they are getting a +100 in a home game against Queretaro, who we’ve said is by far and away the team with the worst roster in Liga MX. You’d like to think that at some point Pumas are going to get back on their feet. Their last game against Atlas was a decent outing they maybe deserved a bit more. Even if you’ve also lost all faith in Pumas the number is certainly tempting and so is the opposing team!
