Since before the beginning of the January transfer window, Arsenal have been keeping tabs on the Shakhtar Donetsk and Ukraine’s International star Mykhailo Mudryk, and after having and opening bid rejected, its been reported that the Gunners have made an improved second offer to sign the young winger (21).

Personal Terms Agreed

Mudryk has not hidden his desire to join the North London team, and he has posted several social media stories making it clear he’s been following closely all Arsenal matches. It’s already been confirmed that Mykhailo and his agent have already agreed personal terms with Arsenal, and he is very keen on making the move happen, and even though other Premier League top teams are rumoured to be interested on the player, Mudryk has his heart set on making a move to the current Premier League leaders.

High Asking Price

The opening bid Arsenal made was around €40m which fell way short on Shakhtar Donetsk asking price for their highly rated winger, since it’s been reported the Ukrainian team have placed a staggering €80m tag on their young star.

As to this writing it’s been confirmed Arsenal has improved their opening offer to around €62m and the Ukrainian side is now open to negotiate the move, which comes as a huge boost for the Gunner fans, since it may be a matter of time before Arsenal’s sporting director Edu Gaspar closes the deal.

The North London team sits first place in the Premier League table and is 7 points clear of Manchester City (2nd place), so it’s now or never, and bringing in key signings this January could be the difference to finally lift the trophy.
